Inner Hooker

I hope you're getting excited by the title of this post - yes, it's time for another giveaway!  And let me warn you, this will be a cuteness overload - check out Inner Hooker and all she has to offer.  Wow!  Her etsy shop is filled with amazing crochet patterns (she's sold over 1,000 if that let's you know how good they are) and they are all for such a reasonable price.  So if you have a few extra dollars sitting around in your paypal account, time to shop.  I was thinking how for a crafting mom wouldn't it be fun to buy them supplies (like a crochet pattern and skien of yarn) for Mother's Day - something different and special.  Anyways, in her shop she has great patterns like this hat I need to make for my little mister:

Or how about this one for a little girl:
and it gets even cuter because you can make matching leg warmers!!

The patterns come in several sizes and are very basic and easy enough for a beginner.  I would consider myself a very basic crocheter and I could actually read the pattern!  (I have to admit, this will be the first time I've made something by reading a pattern on my own).  It was all just chains and single and double crochets (yes, I had to bust out a "how to crochet" book to remind me the difference from single and double, but once I figured it out I was set).  InnerHooker sent me the Cocoon Pod Pattern so I could try it out.  I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be able to do anything with it since I'm not a seasoned pattern reader, so really if I can do it, you can!  I started with a tester and it took me a few rows into it until it hit me "oh, that's what going on - I see how it will all come together".  And of course I messed up a lot in the beginning - I think I made it way too loose (and I'm using the wrong kind of yarn and hook size).  So I plan to restart but here's a peak at my tester:
You can see how it's just starting to curl up into the sack - I think it will do that better my second go at it.
Here's the real thing:
And I love how she says : "Get professional looking photos in your living room or bring this with you to your new baby's photo shoot" - I love trying to get professional looking photos in my living room - it's like she's speaking to me.
So enough rambling - on with the goods!  Inner Hooker is giveway 5 - yes, FIVE - crochet patterns.  That increases your odds of winning, five times.  One free crochet pattern to five different people.   So how to enter?

--go visit the Inner Hooker Etsy shop and comment on this post as to which pattern you love
